5 years after 9-11.

Not much can be said that hasn't been said already. I found this first photo on a Baltimore news site, and I think it's just beautiful. It was taken about 2-3 years after 9-11 at one of the annual memorial ceremonies. Here's a couple links that I especially recommend:

• September 11 Memorial pages from CNN Online. View the names and info about each of the nearly 3,000 that were killed on Sept 11th. There are even photos up for most of the people as well.

• A unique perspective on 9/11: Remembrance tattoos. Survivors, officers, and people who wanted to remember always display their 9/11 related tattoos. Great photography. The stories attached to these tattoos are priceless.

Please don't make this day about politics. It should be a day of memorial for the fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, grandpas, grandmas, cousins, and friends that lost their lives.
